Tomioka Silk Mill and related seri industries sites were registered as the World Heritage sites in 2014. There is the English explanation service for the travellers. The factories are built in 1872 by French inspectors and engineers and designated as the National treasure.

Minakami Kogen Hotel is located in highlands near JR Minakami station (18km), Gunma prefecture. It has nice golf course, ski slopes, hot springs and restaurants. In addition, you can enjoy the spectacular mountain view from the restaurant in the top floor.

Mt. Tanigawa, Ichinokura-sawa is the most famous climbing wall in Japan due to its great size and height. Approximately more than 800 climber were dead due to the climbing accidents since 1960's. You can see its dynamic and Great Wall by the fixed route bus and electric bus service from Doai JR station.

Minakami Kogen Hotel is good to stay! You can enjoy with lot of activity programs. Doai JR station has a deep tunnel (462 steps down) to the platform.
You may reach to Ichinokurasawa valley and see great wall easily by using electric bus service. In the small museam near the bus station, we could enjoy to see lots of old goods and photos of mountain climbing.
