****Tsuwano is the old and beautiful town, and many houses and castle have beed well reserved.
Tsuwano castle has been built by Yoriyuki Toshimi in 1295 on top of the hill and is designated as 100 castles in Japan.
The stone wall is well reserved and you may enjoy the nice view from the hill top.
Tsuwano had a progressive education system, then Ougai Mori (1862-1922) who is the famous novelist and Amane Nishi (1829-1897) who is the Keimoka, (illuminator) Baron, the principal of Tokyo normal school, Genroin gikan (councillor of Chamber of Elders or Senate) are come from Tsuwano.
